The pattern calls for really small needles and leftover sock yarn, but I think this would make a great dishcloth or potholder if you used slightly bigger needles with worsted weight cotton!

What a great way to use up all your leftover little balls of cotton!

I started one in Christmas colours, alternating every second row which gives it a really neat look! I love this Linen Stitch!
