Our Birdfeeders have been invaded!
.
We have 3 birdfeeders for all our birds to eat out of...one would think that 3 feeders would be plenty for all the birds, and they usually are except for today. Today, I counted 6 squirrels fighting over all 3 of our feeders...and if you've ever heard squirrels fighting over something you know they can get quite obnoxious! They are so loud and so feisty and very bold which would make any bird think twice about perching to have a snack!

Yes, these squirrels can be cute but they are also very cheeky & greedy!
.
.
They make sure no one interupts them as they fill their cheeks, leaving hardly any sunflower seeds for the cute little birdies...their little gluttons I tell you!
.

Just look at the look on this one as I got in his face with my camera...he thinks he owns the joint!
.

Grabbing every last morsel...
.

So now I'm off to go fill the feeders once again so the birds can have a fill too...would you believe these cute little furry balls of fluff actually attack the birds?...and not just the little itty bitty chickadees...they pounce on the big blue jays and whiskey jacks too! They really are a nuisance!
.
I finished one knitting project and started another one but ran into a bit of a snag so I've put that one on hold for now.
.
Almost time to think of what to make for dinner...you ever get in that supper rut?...where you feel like you're always cooking the same things leaving you uninspired to cook supper night after night? Well, that's where I'm at right now...I'm bored of the same old same old. Where do you look for inspiration when looking for new recipes? TV? Internet? Magazines? Cook Books? I feel like I need new ideas, nothing fancy shmancy, just something simple and delicious that the whole family will enjoy.
.
Hope you're all having a great day!

Yes, it's more deer pictures.......
.
...but I just can't resist posting more! This morning they were back and I got them to pose nice for the camera!

Can't tell if this one's smiling or not?

What a little cutie!

Here comes another one....

...and another one. Can you see her in the back there, behind the tree?
If you click on the photo you'll be able to really get a good look at her.

There she is!

They looked like they were friends until they started hoofing eachother! What's up with that? Don't ya think they look a bit like kangaroos?...especially when they get up on their hind legs?
.
Kids are at school, hubby's at work, and while I'd love to sit and gawk at all the wildlife in our backyard, I do have some housework to take care of and then I plan to finish the little project I have on the needles...I'll probably have to blow the dust off them...it seems like so long since I picked the needles up!
.
Wishes to all for a great day!

Oh Deer!
.
Not much knitting going on around here...there's just been so much going on, plus I've been sick with a cold for a while now which seems to suck every last bit of energy out of me...can't wait to start feeling better.
.
I couldn't resist posting pics of the deer that have been visiting us daily...yesterday morning there were 8 of the gorgeous creatures here roaming our yard! All pics are clickable :o)
.

Take care and have yourselves a great day!
.
Hugs,

Rachel
