Row 10: (mc) K3, purl to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 11: (mc) K4, *[k2tog] twice, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, [sl 1, k1, psso] twice, k1; repeat from * to last 3 stitches, k3.

Row 12: (mc) K3, purl to last 3 stitches, K3

Row 13: (cc) knit

Row 14: (cc) knit

Row 15: (cc) knit

Row 16: (cc) knit

Worsted weight cotton yarn
Size US 6 (4mm) knitting needles

Abbreviations:

k = knit
k2tog = knit 2 together
yo = yarn over
sl = slip
psso = pass slipped stitch over
mc = main colour
cc = contrast colour

* If you are choosing to use 2 different colours for this pattern, you will find that I wrote (mc) or (cc) beside each row to help determine when to change colours.

* If you are choosing not to use 2 different colours, please just ignore the (mc) and (cc) abbreviations.

Cast on 43 stitches

Row 1: (cc) knit
Row 2: (cc) knit
Row 3: (cc) knit
Row 4: (cc) knit
Row 5: (mc) K4, *[k2tog] twice, [yo, k1] 3 times, yo, [sl 1, k1, psso] twice, k1; repeatfrom * to last 3 stitches, k3.
Row 6: (mc) K3, purl to last 3 stitches, K3
