Are you new to our Knit Alongs?

Would you like to join but don't know how?

No problem! Everyone and anyone is more than welcome to join along!

Here's how it works:
.
.
All our Mystery Group Knit Alongs start on the 3rd Monday of every month.
.
You can join our online group to share pics of your finished kals and talk to other members about the kal or what you've got on the needles at the moment or perhaps what you'd like to have on your needles:
.
.
Each day I post a handful of rows for our mystery knit along until it is complete... usually lasting between a week and 10 days.
.
I post these rows on our online group as well as here on my blog, so be sure to check for kal updates here or on the group.
.
If you are a member of RAVELRY, be sure to link to our mystery knit alongs to keep updated by either, adding it to your projects, adding it to your faves, or adding it to your queue:
.
.
I also post progress photos each day for people to check their progress with mine to make sure they're on the right track with the pattern... there's nothing worse than knitting the entire kal and not finding out till the end that you made a boo boo way back in the beginning!
.
If you are interested in viewing the progress pics of our kal as we go along, be sure to visit my FLICKR page for all the photo updates:

.
And of course, if you have any questions or concerns at all in regards to our knit alongs, please feel free to email me @ ramavasc@yahoo.com
.
Our next Mystery Group Knit Along starts Monday, September 20th!
.
You can click here for all the details!
.
Thanks for joing and knitting along with us :)

When Will it Start:

Monday, September 20, 2010

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

What Will You Need:

2 different colours of Worsted weight cotton yarn (approx. 25 m./27 yds. of each colour)

4.5 mm. (US 7) circular needle or pair of long double-pointed needles

--> Don't worry if you don't have this exact size, something close to it will do... I test knit it with a size 3.5 mm circular needle and it worked out just fine, but you WILL have to use a circular needle or a long double pointed needle as we will be sliding our stitches from one end to the other. We will NOT be knitting in the round, this pattern will be worked as a flat piece.

Stitch markers

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Suggested Colours For You:

You will want to use two highly contrasting colours for best results! I will be using Baby Green and Baby Pink together for my sample.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Stitches That Will Be Used:

k = knit
p = purl
